London

By seeing London, I have seen as much of life as the world can show — Samuel Johnson

A third of the population of London was, like you, born elsewhere, making the city one of the most globally representative on the planet. As you walk through London's streets, you'll overhear some of the 300 languages spoken, be able to see buildings from every period from 43 AD and be able to eat and drink at more than 12,000 restaurants, cafes and pubs.

The possibilities and potentials in London are boundless, and because your time here is very limited it can seem overwhelming. This section of the SU London website is intended as a starting point. The ♥ London Weekends section introduces SUL's own special London-based extracurricular activities weekends, while the University of London Union (or ULU) page introduces you to all of their events, clubs and facilities. Students Say... is full of recommendations from previous SUL students, who have also contributed to Be Poundwise, a section on how to stretch your money as far as possible in a one of the world's most expensive cities.

Because this section of the website has been written primarily by students or based on student evaluations and feedback, we very much need your help in keeping it currently. Please email Melissa Willby with ideas, suggestions and reviews.
