Forward Lockerbie

On 21 DECEMBER 1988 thirty five Syracuse University students returning to the United States after a semester studying abroad in London and Europe lost their lives when a terrorist bomb exploded aboard Pan Am Flight 103 in the skies over Lockerbie, Scotland. To commemorate the tragedy and to celebrate the links that have grown between Syracuse and the town of Lockerbie, these images have been collected and compiled by Professor Larry Mason in a dedicated art work hanging in the Faraday House entrance. This leaflet introduces the piece and describes the images.
